Dot skipped school and was home for two days last week. She was coughing away especially night so it would be better to give her more rest and away from her classmates.
After she woke up in the morning, she requested to do art and craft. She brought out our craft books, spread all the materials all over the floor in the living room.
We made two puppets together – a lion, which she calls Simba and a dog, which she calls puppy the dog.
The next morning, she spoke to me while she was on her bed that she wanted to make stage for her puppets. We then went to look for suitable materials to make her stage which she later named, “Animal Circus”. We found a cardboard box, a green cloth, alphabet stickers and other necessary materials.
In less than 30 minutes, our “Animal Circus” is ready for its debut show.
Dot spent a considerable amount of time with her puppets before her bedtime. I had a fun time with her – watching her acting as a lion and a dog in her “Animal Circus”.
