Dot brought her friend Cathy to Bali too!

We made a quick decision in late August to go for a 6-day getaway from Singapore to Bali, Indonesia with Dot and bought our airfares via Jetstar.

These blog posts on Ubud, Manggis, Sanur and Nusa Dua got me more excited about our upcoming Bali trip.

Tripadvisor has helped us a lot in planning for our trip to Bali. Within three days, we completed our itinerary and booked all our hotels.

An ambitious trip with a toddler in Bali – thank God that we not just survived but had fun journey throughout.

Our itinerary in brief:

From Denpasar airport, we went up north to Lovina and on route to stop at the UNESCO world heritage site, Jatiluwih rice terrace. At Lovina, we did dolphin watching at the break of the day, rest and relax. Thereafter, we travelled down east for Kintamani and visit the Luwak civet coffee farm and stay one night overlooking Mount Batur and Lake Batur. After Kintamani, we travelled down south to our favourite Mara River Safari Lodge at Gianyar. Our last night at Legian is only 5 minutes walk from Legian beach and 20-30 minutes drive (depending on traffic) from the Denpasar airport.
